The College is located in Worcester, Massachusetts, New England’s second largest city, and is home to a thriving community of 172,000 residents. Health care and biotechnology are the major industries in Worcester and the principle employers include the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center and Medical School, Fallon Healthcare System and BASF, which conducts cancer research. The 58 acres campus is located just 40 miles west of Boston, the campus is easily accessible by car, bus or train from anywhere in the State. The newest addition to the campus is a 500 space parking garage and a resurfaced football field.
Grad Student Organizations
Student activities include 40 clubs and organizations, inclusive of Campus Ambassadors (Christian), International Student Union, Newman Association, Pep Club, Ski Club, Student Television Organization (WSTS TV-11), The Student Voice (weekly college newspaper), Third World Alliance, WSCW Radio, and The Yearbook. There are also 19 intercollegiate sports programs, and a wide variety of music and theater offerings. Annual campus events include Welcome Week, Family/Homecoming Weekend, Senior Capping, Winter Week, Commuter appreciation Week, Spring Week, and Multicultural Festival.
